Child restraints
At Mentone Mota Fix, we know that Child Restraint Fitting is a serious business.
We have been a RACV Approved Restraint Fitting Station for approximately 20 years... in fact Mota Fix has been involved with the RACV programme from its inception.
Over the years we have been involved in many free Restraint checking events, as well as providing tuition to Social Workers and Child Care Workers.
Surveys carried out by Vic Roads and RACV suggest that over 70% of child seats are not fitted correctly.
Restraint Fittings are carried out Monday to Friday between 9.00-12.00, and most Saturday mornings between 8-00-11.00. It is always a good idea to ring before to confirm that staff are on duty.
Most fitments take approximately 15 minutes and are generally completed whilst you wait. We listen to your needs and can offer suggestions that may work better for you.
Mota Fix is registered to add extra Child Restraint Fittings to different types of vehicles, such as, Dual Cabs, 4 Wheel Drives and Vans.
We stock Child Restraint Anchorage Bars (CRAB) and Dual Cab Anchorage Kits, along with a large variety of accessories and “H” Harnesses.
